Hi, I’m Taryn Williams.
The nutritionist behind Fertile Nutrition and mumma to a beautiful, naturally conceived 4 year old boy.
I’m also a human biology nerd and healthy foodie who is passionate about women’s health, fertility and making a difference in this world.
I’ve experienced first-hand how powerful food and nutrition can be for balancing hormones and restoring fertility, when I overcame decades of hormone issues to fall pregnant naturally at 37 years old. I am now dedicated to sharing that knowledge with other women as a nutritionist specialising in women’s health and preconception care.
To women who may be struggling to fall pregnant, heading down the path of ART, or who are just slaves to their hormones every month: there is a better way when you know how. With the right knowledge and support, you too can overcome your health issues and enjoy living the life you dream of. It would be an honour to help you get there.

My personal experience helped me discover my passion for fertility and pregnancy nutrition.
I got here as a result of my own fertility struggles and hormonal issues which began as far back as my teenage years.
I ignored having irregular periods, crazy mood swings, inflamed, itchy skin, terrible pain and constant bloating for years. I was put on the pill at 15 and didn’t think twice about it until I decided to come off it in my early 30’s to start a family. And after a decade and a half I was shocked to find my period was still all over the place, my skin was a mess and I was constantly bloated and irritable.
I couldn’t ignore it any longer. The body is smart like that. So after a rollercoaster ride of different tests, scans and appointments I eventually found out my hormone levels were low and I wasn’t ovulating every month. I was told that considering my age I should probably consider IVF.
But luckily, by this point, I knew the importance of diet and nutrition in improving so many health conditions. I took it upon myself to further improve my diet, my husband and I took various supplements and made important lifestyle changes like reducing stress.
I couldn’t believe the results. I had physical changes in just a few months, and I knew my hormones were finally starting to regulate. And I fell pregnant the very next month! Seeing those double pink lines was the best feeling in the world!
I went on to have a wonderful pregnancy at 37 years old, with no nausea or fatigue, no emotional rollercoaster or weird cravings. And I gave birth to a healthy baby, who even to this day hardly gets sick, and who still can’t get enough of his veggies and sauerkraut!

As a nutritional medicine practitioner I use scientifically supported strategies that use food and nutrients to restore the body to optimal health and function. These strategies can increase the chances of falling pregnant naturally, improve symptoms of PMS and hormone imbalances and support the management of PCOS and endometriosis.
Alongside the science, I genuinely value each and every client, and pride myself in offering personalised support and recommendations. These always address the root cause of your health issues which means you’re more likely to experience long-term changes.

One of the things I love most about my job is connecting with my clients one-on-one. Whether it’s in a consultation or workshop, the area of fertility and women’s health is uniquely personal. I see myself as your advocate, confidant and a supportive partner on your journey. You’re not in this alone.
